Detroit Diesel DD15 Demand It All Tour Travels Across Country
Tour Gives Drivers, Customers Hands-On Experience of Power and Technology
Behind Ground-Breaking Engine
REDFORD, Mich. - April 3, 2008 -
The DD15 Demand It All Tour, an interactive
customer experience demonstrating innovative and groundbreaking technology
behind the development of the DD15™ engine, begins its six-month journey at
the Hurricane, W.Va., TravelCenters of America (TA), on April 3.
The Daimler Trucks North America commercial vehicle equipped with the DD15
engine and customized interactive learning trailer will visit TAs and Petro
Stopping Centers throughout the United States.
The Demand It All Tour allows customers and drivers to test drive the new DD15
engine, as well as to learn firsthand the benefits of it through the interactive
display trailer.
The Demand It All Tour highlights advancements in engine technology including:
Amplified Common Rail System (ACRS)™, Turbo Compound System and
integrated Jacobs Brake. Visitors can compare fuel economy, view driver
testimonials and test the DD15’s performance.
